In the production of Art glass and Glass sculpture, only extremely pure certified glass is used, which conducts light better than ordinary soda-lime glass.
Czech crystal glass is so clear that light passes through it without color distortion and with minimal loss. In addition, lead crystal (glass with PbO admixture), or modern crystal (with admixtures of Lithium and Barium metals) can perfectly decompose white light into individual rainbow colors (similar to an optical prism).

These materials are therefore ideal for creating original artistic lighting fixtures, i.e. a combination of decorative, strong backlighting and a beautiful light-conducting glass object.
